Intel Graphics Compiler (IGC) 2.30.1 has been released, bringing continued enablement work for Xe3P Nova Lake and Crescent Island hardware. Key highlights include HF8 (half-float 8-bit) support wired up for the Crescent Island AI inference accelerator, Nova Lake P preparations, IEEE-compliant rounding modes for div and sqrt, an option to disable BF16 BIF compilation for upstream Clang compatibility, and various ray-tracing changes. The release is available on GitHub, with a new Intel Compute Runtime release expected to follow.
