I switched from i3 to Hyprland a few months ago and the change has been incredible. I loved i3, but the customization options were still limited. Hyprland is much more customizable, ergonomic and pleasant to use. The special workspace is also a very interesting feature that is not present in i3.
Having tried Hyprland on Ubuntu for the first time, I quickly decided to switch to Arch. Integration is much better and unpleasant surprises much rarer.
