Insta360 has launched the Mic Pro, a wireless microphone system featuring a three-microphone array that can emulate different pickup patterns (shotgun, cardioid, figure-8) via audio processing software. Each transmitter includes a 1.22-inch six-color E Ink screen for personalization, 32GB of onboard storage for stereo backup recordings, and up to 10 hours of battery life (extendable to 30 with the charging case). The transmitters connect via Bluetooth directly to smartphones and Insta360 cameras, or via USB-C/audio cable through a wireless receiver. Individual transmitters are priced at $99.99, with a full kit at $329.99.
