Inertia.js v3.0.0 is now officially released, bringing several major changes to the full-stack framework bridge. Axios is replaced by a built-in XHR client, removing ~15KB from bundles. A new `useHttp` hook enables non-navigation HTTP requests with reactive state matching `useForm` DX. First-class optimistic update support is added across the router, `useForm`, and `useHttp`, with automatic rollback on non-2xx responses. SSR now works in Vite dev mode without a separate Node.js process. Additional features include Instant Visits, Layout Props API, `preserveFragment`, a Svelte 5 adapter (dropping Svelte 4), React Strict Mode support, and a Popover API-based progress bar. This is a major release with breaking changes including ESM-only output and renamed APIs.
