Innersloth, the studio behind Among Us, has publicly released the contract for its indie game fund Outersloth. The deal offers developers an advance with a 50% revenue share until repaid, then drops to 15% — significantly better than the industry norm of 70-80% until recovery and 30-20% afterward. Beyond funding, Outersloth provides mentorship covering hiring, studio management, PR/marketing, porting, QA, and platform relationships. The agreement runs for 7 years post-release. Innersloth has funded 24 games so far and hopes the transparency will push other publishers and funds toward more developer-friendly terms.
