Emversity, an Indian workforce training startup, raised $30 million in Series A funding led by Premji Invest, doubling its valuation to $120 million. The company addresses India's employability gap by partnering with 23 universities and employers like Fortis Healthcare and Taj Hotels to embed job-ready training for "grey-collar" roles in healthcare and hospitality that require hands-on skills AI cannot replace. With 4,500 learners trained and 800 placed so far, Emversity operates at 80% gross margins and plans to expand to 200+ locations while entering manufacturing and EPC sectors.
