India's PC market hit a record 15.9 million units shipped in 2025, a 10.2% year-over-year increase that surpassed pandemic-era peaks. Growth is driven by first-time pandemic buyers upgrading aging devices, rising digitization, and expanding adoption among SMBs and smaller cities. India's share of global PC shipments climbed to 5.6% from 3.3% in 2020. HP, Lenovo, Dell, Acer, and Asus lead the market, while Apple's MacBook holds about 5.6% of the notebook segment. AI-enabled PCs are emerging in the premium tier but aren't yet a major demand driver. Despite the strong 2025 performance, shipments could dip around 5% in 2026 due to rising prices and component shortages, before recovering in 2027.
