ILSpy, the popular open-source .NET decompiler and disassembler, has released its first public beta for macOS. Previously limited to Windows due to its WPF-based UI, the port was made possible by Avalonia XPF, requiring only ~16 lines of code changes from the original WPF version. The release brings full ILSpy functionality to Mac users, with a Linux version expected shortly after. Beta testers are encouraged to report macOS-specific issues.
