Ripple is an experimental TypeScript UI framework for web development that introduces a new .ripple file extension and JSX-like syntax with built-in reactivity. Created by a developer with experience on React, Svelte 5, and other major frameworks, it features reactive state management using $ prefixed variables, component-based architecture, and unique control flow statements like if/for/try blocks within templates. The framework is currently in early alpha development and includes VSCode integration with syntax highlighting and TypeScript support.

Cool this looks like an interesting project, might be fun to play around with 🙌🏻

I’ve been out of the front end world for a few years now. Could someone explain it like I’m 5, why would I pick this over something like Solid that already uses JSX and is entirely reactive?

Please shorten the file extension. <code>.ripple</code> is a long file extension to write thousand of files.
