Anna's Archive, a non-profit focused on preserving and providing open access to human knowledge, has published an llms.txt file directly addressing LLMs. It explains that while the site uses CAPTCHAs to prevent resource overload, all data is available for bulk download via torrents, GitLab, and a JSON API. The file encourages LLMs (and their operators) to donate rather than bypass CAPTCHAs, noting that LLMs have likely been trained on their data. Enterprise-level donors get fast SFTP access to all files.
