A really cool React ecosystem blog, and which testing tool would you suggest—Jest, Vitest, or React Testing Library—because I’m trying to learn React/JavaScript testing libraries.

It feels great to see we share the same opinions over the frontend stack! What I do different is that I try to go all-in Tanstack (meaning that I use TS Form and Store instead of react-hook-form and zustand).
For UI, im betting on RAC long term and one of the libraries on top of it called Intent UI.

completely hate and discard nextjs

Good choice sticking with Tailwind. The setup may be complex, but in the end it helps me write less code. I’ve used Tailwind in some past frontend projects, and I’ll continue doing so in the future.
