Yeah…HARD pass. Extreme hard pass. I would avoid the entire brand over this.

This sort of stuff annoys me, you can tell they will be collecting all your data and hiding things in an app would also confuse a lot of old people or my wife who is a technophobe. Unless it is bringing something extra just leave all the essential functions on the device

And this is how Bosch stopped to be an option to me.
I didn’t found a single IoT thing which wasn’t clunky to connect. If I’m forced to use phone for simple thing this will be extremely annoying to use by me.
I can’t imagine fighting this “connect damn it” battle every day just to have clean dishes

if the app can load the dishes and add detergent, i’ll sign up. but since i am loading the thing, i can just push a button or two to run it…

if it doesn’t work with home assistant, hard pass anyway…
