I want a small Android phone!

The phone category we love is disappearing. Let's bring it back!

The last good small phone I had was the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. It was released in 2014 and was ahead of its time.
After that, Sony started releasing “Compact” versions of their flagships with inferior specs, which was really disappointing.

The Samsung Galaxy 10E was the best device I’ve ever had besides not being able to replace the battery.

Indeed, for some unidentified reason, no brand produces 5’ smartphones. (There might be some very low-end exceptions, let’s skip on that).
Sony was among the last to leave this niche.
Personally, I had to chose larger and larger smartphone with each generation. I kept a phone for 2-3 years, and each time I was reluctant to get bigger screen. I just had no other options if I wanted a decent modern camera and performance.
Here’s my story since 2009:
HTC Diamond (awful experience) -&gt; Motorola Razr (with an Intel processor) -&gt; Motorola G - Lenovo P2 (massive battery that lasted 3.5 days on a single charge) -&gt; Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (great price to quality ratio) -&gt; Huawei P30 Pro (love the camera)

The S22 has 6.1 inches! Great camera!
