I turned my Kindle into my own personal newspaper

A personal workflow for turning a Kindle into a daily reading device for web articles and newsletters. The setup uses Readeck (a self-hosted read-later service) to collect links throughout the day, export them as an EPUB, then convert to MOBI using Calibre for Kindle compatibility. The author also considered Wallabag and Instapaper but settled on Readeck for its better parser and built-in EPUB export. The result is a low-cost alternative to expensive Android E-Ink tablets, with the main trade-off being the need for a computer to handle file conversion.
