I Tricked YouTubers Into Promoting A Fake Product

An individual created a fake VPN product called Chad VPN and tricked several YouTubers into promoting it. Despite the product’s obvious signs of being fake, including a fake address and no testimonials, around a dozen YouTubers showed interest, and a few with significant followings accepted the sponsorship for small payments. Videos promoting the fictitious service were posted, highlighting the ease with which content creators can be misled by fraudulent offers.
