A hands-on comparison of three free Photoshop alternatives — Affinity, Photopea, and Inkscape — tested against the same real-world project: a YouTube banner with vector shapes, typography, and neon glow effects. Affinity came out on top due to its native vector workflow and robust effects tools. Photopea ranked second for its font selection and crisp brush tools.
