I replaced my expensive Microsoft 365 subscription with these free alternatives and couldn’t be happier

A personal account of replacing Microsoft 365 with free, open-source alternatives. The toolkit covers four tools: Obsidian for note-taking (replacing OneNote), LibreOffice for documents and spreadsheets (replacing Office apps), Thunderbird for email and calendar (replacing Outlook), and Nextcloud for self-hosted cloud storage (replacing OneDrive). Each tool is briefly evaluated with practical notes on setup, UI customization, and cross-platform sync.
