At a startup pitch event, nobody cared whether founders were technical or how they built their apps. Conversations centered on monetization, pricing, product-market fit, marketing, and scaling. The key insight: vibe coding lowers the barrier to building, but the hard business problems remain unchanged after 15 years.

i remembered an incredible lesson today

most ppl went up and pitched their app today (incl me)

nobody gave a fuck whether someone is technical or not, and how they built their app

we talked about monetization, pricing, product market fit, marketing, ideas for scaling etc.

made me realize that nothing has changed in the last 15 years except you can vibe code your codebase now ... and?

you're still left with the above problems, which most people don't want to bother with

fun day :)
