I made the ultimate productivity device for less than 50 bucks

A developer built a custom productivity device called Mirtillo using a M5Stack Paper S3 e-ink touchscreen unit (under €50) programmed with MicroPython. The device implements a 'non-deterministic task manager' that uses Monte Carlo simulations to suggest tasks based on personal fatigue levels, task importance, deadlines, and estimated durations. It features four sections: Tasks, Clock, Events, and Budget. The budget section tracks spending and calorie intake using a simple rate-based counter system. The e-ink display preserves battery by only waking to update periodically. The project is open-source and took a few days to build during a vacation.
