I’m a developer who vibe codes – and you should, too

No thank you, I actually like coding.

This “excitment” sounds a lot like dopamine spikes which is quiet dangerous. The feeling of fulfilment and acomplishment fuels this spiral. Next thing, you wake up to the AI slop that cannot be managed anymore. Personally I think development should be a little bit boring (not overly boring) as the “boring” parts usually are the most important. Moving too fast leaves a lot of gaps that will eventually comes to bite.

Vibe coding is for developers with lots of cash to burn. I can’t afford to vibe code since the free stuff sucks and is very limited.

Not sure how vibe coding can (re)ignite passion for coding. It looks more like passion for copy paste.
But, we all have our choices.

I was trapped in the Vibe Coding hell…and now I dislike it because I cannot learn anything. I don’t hate vibe coding because it can be beneficial sometimes, but as a developer who wants to learn, vibe coding is really not my thing
