One of the decisions I made early last year was to pretty much stop contributing to conferences abroad. I’m not going to revisit my reasons for that decision here, if you’re interested in them, you can read the blog post I just linked to.

Additionally, they can learn about software testing tools, test-driven development (TDD), and agile testing methodologies.

Bas Dijkstra will facilitate a tutorial at EuroSTAR 2026 in Oslo, Norway, focusing on improving Playwright end-to-end test code. The tutorial goes beyond basic Playwright instruction by having participants review an existing codebase, identify areas for improvement, and advocate for changes while explaining the reasoning behind them. Participants will also get hands-on experience applying these improvements to a fictional application's test suite.
