Can you actually code on a smartphone? I decided to find out by ditching my laptop for an entire week and using only my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra) for all my development work.

I actually got local AI models running at 20+ tokens/second on my phone. Qwen 4B ran completely offline with impressive performance.

Biggest challenges were: Screen size, multitasking limitations, package installation times, and honestly... my neck after using that WALL-E-style mount.

A developer experiments with coding on a smartphone for a week, testing various mobile code editors including GitHub Codespaces, Acode, and NeoVim through Termux.
