Quesma and Hydrolix have announced a technical partnership that enables Kibana to connect directly to Hydrolix's cost-effective streaming data lake. Quesma acts as a translation layer, converting Elastic Query Language queries into SQL so teams can migrate from Elasticsearch to Hydrolix without changing their existing Kibana dashboards or workflows. Hydrolix, which raised $35M in Series B funding, offers petabyte-scale log ingestion at significantly lower costs than legacy solutions. The integration removes migration friction by decoupling the UI layer from the underlying data platform.
