Huawei has launched the MateBook Fold, an ultra-thin folding laptop measuring 7.3mm thick when unfolded. It features an 18-inch OLED display that folds at a 90-degree angle to form a 13-inch screen with a digital keyboard, mimicking a traditional laptop. It weighs 1.16kg and includes up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. The device is currently available only in China for around $3,300 and runs on Huawei’s HarmonyOS 5 due to U.S. sanctions affecting access to Windows.
