I didn’t know about the Range input. I’ve hardcoded this with JavaScript in the past.😥

The ‘search’ input type was new to me, along with the ‘month’ and ‘week’ one. Most of the others I have used before.

I think it’s important to point out that the helper controls for some of these types, specifically the clock for the <code>time</code> input or a calendar for a <code>date</code> input, rely on the browser to implement them.
For example, when building a calendar application, our team decided to use the <code>date</code> and <code>time</code> type inputs because of the built-in calendar and time pickers. However, that was in Chrome. When we tested in Firefox, there were no built in controls.
Regardless, I prefer using the new types because they’re more often than not handled by the browser the way I would expect them to be without having to create my own UI for them. This is especially true on mobile devices where some inputs have alternative control schemes. Introducing a time picker with a clock interface on an iOS device will cause a bump in the UX.

Honestly that clear button on search feels super useful, I wish it were just an attribute you could add to any text input.
