Agoda has open-sourced a project called macOS-vz-Kubelet, which enables the integration of macOS workloads with Kubernetes by running a Kubernetes Kubelet directly on macOS. This solution leverages Apple’s Silicon and Virtualization framework to manage and utilize macOS infrastructure efficiently. Key features include hybrid runtime pods, custom OCI format for VM images, and advanced networking solutions.
