Cloudflare has launched Organizations in public beta, a new management layer for enterprise customers who operate multiple Cloudflare accounts. The feature introduces an 'Org Super Administrator' role that grants super admin permissions across all accounts in an organization without requiring individual account memberships. It includes a roll-up HTTP traffic analytics dashboard and the ability to share WAF/Gateway policies centrally across accounts. The feature was built on top of Cloudflare's existing Tenant system and required a major internal refactor adding 133,000 lines of code, removing 32,000, and delivering a 27% performance improvement in permission enumeration calls. Currently limited to enterprise customers, it will expand to pay-as-you-go customers in coming months. Planned additions include org-level audit logs, billing reports, additional analytics, more user roles, and self-serve account creation.
