How to validate date in JavaScript

<p>Just a tiny hiccups when using <code>isNaN</code> in a TS project. From my experience, typescript definition provided by <a href="https://www.npmjs.com/package/@types/node" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">@\types/node</a> only allows <code>number</code> to be used for <code>isNaN</code> or <code>isFinite</code>. I wish they corrected this, but so far I just had to <code>isNaN(date.getTime())</code> as a workaround</p>
