Claude now offers a built-in import tool to migrate memories and context from ChatGPT. The process involves copying a special prompt from Claude's settings, running it in ChatGPT (ideally with the thinking model enabled and all personalization options turned on), then pasting the extracted data back into Claude's memory. For users who organize work in ChatGPT Projects, the same approach applies — create a matching project in Claude and manually add the extracted context to project instructions and memory.
