The fact that we have to prepare for interviews, and past experience and projects aren’t enough is a clear sign of how broken interviewing is in SWE. I understand this format for juniors with no proven track record, but for anyone with at least 2 years in the industry? Waste of time. Mind you, these concepts you should know, yes, but from having to work with them, not just for interviews.
