How to Make Your Awesome GitHub Profile

Yeah no recruiter or hiring manager is going through that and this trend needs to stop tbh
Keep it clean simple and minimal you don’t need a banner and meters and how many stars you have.
If your goals isn’t getting a job, then this is fine
I’ve spoken and know many technical recruiters, hiring managers and ceos or people running their own companies.
You know what many tell me?
“What the fuck is this, a space ship?”
“Why do I have to scroll / hit ctr F to find what I need?”
“What are these bars? 3/5 rating or 80% JS mastery doesn’t tell me what I need”
Etc
What I’m trying to get at is, proceed with caution. Your GitHub is a technical space, not your Instagram.
