Kotak811, the digital banking arm of Kotak Mahindra Bank serving 23 million users, partnered with Coralogix to overhaul its observability stack. Facing data overload from millions of concurrent transactions, the team implemented a 5-phase migration: architectural mapping, observability-as-code via Terraform and Helm in CI/CD pipelines, telemetry unification using OpenTelemetry across 200+ microservices, TCO optimization with Coralogix's Streama technology, and full-stack developer enablement. The architecture routes logs from AWS EKS, EC2, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail through AWS Private Link to Coralogix, with enriched data archived back to S3. Results include a 90-95% reduction in Mean Time to Detection, 30% reduction in observability costs, and automated onboarding ensuring every new microservice is 'born observable'.
