Nice article. You can also add another point: “Applying what you learnt”. When you implement something based on what you learnt you reinforce what you learnt and also learn new things in the process.

Great reminders. It can be easy to get stuck in suboptimal knowledge building methods. To be hesitant to take the effort and stop your bike to swap out the square wheels for round ones.

As for point n.5 I highly recommend spaced repetition method for flashcards. It greatly improves long term retention of knowledge.
