A walkthrough of using Vagrant to create a headless Linux VM on a Mac, with a shared folder synced between the host and the VM. This lets you edit code natively in VS Code on macOS while compiling and running it inside Linux — no file copying needed. The setup involves a Vagrantfile (written in Ruby) that specifies the base Ubuntu image, provisioning packages, and a synced folder. Once the VM is up, you SSH in and any edits made on the Mac instantly appear inside the VM.
