I’ve always wondered how to large scale games actually earn? Games such as Fortnite, Assassins Creed and such.
They barely host ads, and with a scale of millions of active players at a time, how large might their monthly server expenses might be… Also with in-game purchases can they earn enough to pay for these expenses…
Really wonder what their highest source of income is!!

also the fan base are big, meaning there is a lot more people willing to spend on a game, also don’t forget special edition with extra add on, that ‘most’ of them does not affect the game play.Oh and DLCs
