claude-file-recovery is an open-source Python tool that recovers files created or modified by Claude Code by parsing its JSONL session transcripts stored in ~/.claude/projects/. It replays Write, Edit, and Read operations in chronological order to reconstruct file states at any point in time. Features include an interactive TUI with fuzzy search and vim keybindings, colored diff views, batch extraction, point-in-time recovery via a --before flag, and fast parallel session parsing. The tool runs entirely offline with no telemetry and is installable via uv, pipx, or pip.
