Anthropic has signed a compute partnership with SpaceX, gaining access to over 300 megawatts of capacity (220,000+ NVIDIA GPUs) at SpaceX's Colossus 1 data center. As a result, Anthropic is doubling Claude Code's five-hour rate limits for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans, removing peak-hours limit reductions for Pro and Max accounts, and raising API rate limits for Claude Opus models. This joins existing compute deals with Amazon (up to 5 GW), Google and Broadcom (5 GW), Microsoft and NVIDIA ($30B Azure capacity), and a $50B infrastructure investment with Fluidstack. Anthropic is also expanding internationally to support data residency requirements in regulated industries.
