The update includes accessibility improvements, workflow fixes, editor width/height bug fixes, and a 'What's new' tour for 6.1. The stable release is planned for April 14, 2026, with Release Candidate 1 due March 31. Extension developers are encouraged to test their extensions against this beta and report bugs at issues.joomla.org. No new features will be added at this stage; contributions for new functionality should target Joomla 6.2.
