StepSecurity's Harden Runner now supports Windows and macOS GitHub-hosted runners, making it the first EDR solution covering all three major GitHub Actions platforms. The release adds audit mode with network and process event monitoring for both platforms, with no configuration changes required for existing workflows. Community tier (free for public repos) includes network event monitoring, while Enterprise tier adds process event visibility. Block mode, file monitoring, and self-hosted runner support for Windows/macOS are coming soon. Harden Runner is already used by over 10,000 public repositories and has detected real supply chain attacks including the tj-actions/changed-files compromise.
