HarborFM is a free, open-source, self-hosted podcast creation platform inspired by the now-defunct Anchor.FM. It lets users build episodes from reusable audio segments (recordings, uploads, intros, outros), trim and arrange them, and generate a final audio or video file. Key features include a segment-based episode editor with non-destructive trimming, WebRTC group call recording, Whisper-based transcription with AI summaries, Podcast 2.0 chapter markers, per-show RSS feeds, private tokenized subscriber feeds, analytics, live multi-user collaboration, and flexible deployment destinations (S3/R2, FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, IPFS, SMB). Deployment is supported via Docker, Docker Compose, or Terraform scripts targeting AWS or Vultr. Admin controls cover SSO (OIDC/SAML), 2FA, custom domains with automatic SSL, and configurable LLM/transcription services (Ollama or OpenAI).
