Hacktron, a security startup, has raised $2.9M in seed funding to build an AI platform that continuously tests code for exploitable vulnerabilities on every pull request and code change. The platform uses multiple AI models to reduce false positives and surface remediation recommendations compatible with AI coding tools. The founder argues that as AI models from Anthropic and OpenAI make vulnerability discovery faster, the only defense is proactive AI-driven security testing before deployment. The company previously uncovered critical OAuth2 Proxy vulnerabilities and provided security testing for Perplexity AI and Supabase.
