A hacker breached Doublespeed, an a16z-funded startup that operates a phone farm of AI-generated TikTok influencers, and attempted to post anti-a16z memes across hundreds of customer accounts. The attacker claims to have exfiltrated 47MB of data and identified 573 postable accounts and 413 phones. Doublespeed says no unauthorized posts were successfully published and the compromised system — an older post-queuing backend — has since been secured. This is at least the second time Doublespeed has been hacked, following a December 2025 breach that exposed over 400 TikTok accounts used to promote products without disclosure.
