One year ago today, @bcherny released Claude Code to the world as part of the Sonnet 3.7 launch. One year later, it is now writing 4% of all code on GitHub and on track to rise to 25-50% by 2027. We celebrate the anniversary by talking to a self proclaimed "Claude Code Psychosis" superuser, applying it to intense finance + semiconductor analysis knowledge work.

Separately, we also cover the shocking global memory chip shortage that started hitting the market last quarter, but is likely to have ripple effects all over the semis stack right down to TSMC and even your own iPhone prices.
