FileBrowser Quantum is a major fork of the original FileBrowser project, offering a self-hosted web-based file manager with enhanced features including multiple source support, OIDC authentication, real-time search and indexing, improved UI with office file previews, and developer API support. While currently in development without a stable release, it aims to be the best free open-source file browsing application with simplified configuration via YAML files and ultra-efficient performance in a compact executable.
