Hacking group ShinyHunters claims to have breached Rockstar Games' cloud infrastructure via a third-party vendor (Anodot), stealing corporate data and demanding a ransom by April 14th, 2026. Rockstar confirmed a limited amount of non-material company information was accessed but stated there is no impact on players. The stolen data is believed to include corporate documents such as contracts, marketing plans, and financial records. This marks the second major hack against Rockstar, following a 2022 breach that leaked early GTA VI footage. ShinyHunters has previously targeted Microsoft, Ticketmaster, and other large companies.
