GRUB 2.14 has been released after more than two years since version 2.12. The bootloader update includes EROFS file-system support, LVM enhancements, NX support for EFI platforms, shim loader protocol, Argon2 KDF support, dates beyond Year 2038, Zstd decompression, BLS and UKI support, TPM2 key protector, and numerous security fixes including CVE patches. The release also brings improvements to EFI code, TPM drivers, filesystems, tests, and documentation.
