That leaderboard means nothing in terms of model performance though. It is almost entirely driven by cost, and Grok Code Fast 1 is less than half (sometimes closer to a fifth or a tenth) the cost of other current-gen models suitable for coding, like Sonnet, GPT-5, GPT-5 Codex, Gemini 2.5 Pro, and GLM.
