A Raspberry Pi Zero W running Alpine Linux in diskless (RAMdisk) mode serves websites entirely from RAM, eliminating SD card wear and reducing power consumption. The setup uses lighttpd and a Python-based file server consuming only 27 MB of RAM, handles 50 simultaneous connections with ~1.3s response times, and is housed in a 3D-printed aluminum passive-cooling case. Powered by solar with a 20W panel, the whole system draws under a watt, making it a practical entry for the 2026 Green Powered Challenge.
