Grammarly’s ‘expert review’ is just missing the actual experts

Grammarly's Expert Review feature, launched in August 2025, offers writing suggestions framed as coming from well-known authors, journalists, and thinkers — without their knowledge or consent. Grammarly's parent company Superhuman justifies using these names because their published works are publicly available, while a disclaimer states the references don't imply affiliation or endorsement. Critics argue the feature is misleading since no actual experts are involved in producing the reviews.
