Grafana 13, unveiled at GrafanaCON 2026, introduces a range of features focused on faster insights and easier operations at scale. Key highlights include suggested dashboards with Prometheus compatibility scoring, improved visualization suggestions using data source metadata, saved queries with variable substitution, a redesigned query editor with a unified pipeline view, and dynamic dashboards now enabled by default with a new v2 schema. AI capabilities expand with Grafana Assistant now accessible to OSS and Enterprise users. New visualization options include a revamped gauge panel, a Graphviz panel plugin for workflow diagrams, panel styles, and copy-paste styling. Operational improvements include Git Sync reaching general availability with GitHub App auth and GitLab/BitBucket support, and Grafana Advisor for automated health checks. A new IBM DB2 Enterprise data source and the Grafana Marketplace for plugin distribution round out the release.
